my house ceramics are made by monika jang (they/them) in san francisco, ca. each piece is one-of-a-kind and meant to evoke play, fantasy and simplicity. these works show many imperfections, an inevitable facet of the hand building process and an intentional expression of my personal style.

this is an image of my favorite squirrel, the abert's squirrel. this rare black morphology is only found in the foothills of the rocky mountains in colorado. one thing that i find strange about squirrels is that many species will eat carrion if their main food sources (various seeds, pinecones and buds) are not available. i just can't really imagine a squirrel eating meat.
